Positive pathway framework: Preventing youth homelessness and promoting positive transitions
A Talk by Anna Whalen (Associate, St Basils)
About this Talk
The 3 national youth housing and support frameworks were updated in 2019/20 by St Basils, at the request of MHCLG and DfE. • The Positive Pathway - a generic model for all young people aged 16 - 25 • The Care Leaver Accommodation and Support Framework – developed in partnership with Barnardos • The Youth Justice Accommodation Pathway – focusing on young people leaving custody and Many local authorities report that they use these models to assist them in developing and improving their local services, by working in partnership to deliver preventative services and housing options.
This workshop will give you an overview of the 3 frameworks, what is in them and how you might use them locally.
Please note: This is a workshop session and therefore attendee audio and video will be available. We ask you to mute yourselves during the main presentation, and unmute for the breakout group periods within the session where you can share your thoughts and experience with other attendees.
