About this speaker
n 2011, due to a breakdown in family relationships I became a resident of one of Centrepoints youth hostels. Over the course of the next 6 years I moved between a few of their different shelters and subsequently spent a large part of my youth there. I received support from the key workers, therapists and many other organisations and practitioners during such period. To this day I am grateful for those services and am happy to state that much of my current success is aligned with the guidance I received there...
In August 2019 I graduated from the University of East London with a Masters degree in Contemporary Performance Practices. During that period and for the prior 15 years, I have dedicated my life to pursuing a career as a professional dancer. Over this time, I have trained, choreographed, taught and performed with some of the most talented and prestigious dancers and facilities worldwide.
My experiences, lead me to believe that there is plenty of room for a more fun and consistent structured outlet of guidance regarding emotions, career and creativity. The programme I have now created would definitely accelerated and enhanced my inspiration towards success.
This is the motivation behind the Moving Upwards workshop. With much advice and help from other professional practitioners, market researchers, fund raisers and other team members at the Centrepoint charity the first Moving Upwards workshop took place at the Centrepoint hub at Dean street in Soho, London on 2nd March 2019.
