About this speaker
After a turbulent time growing up, Jade found the courage and determination to turn things around. With the support of Stepping Stone Projects in Lancashire (one of Centrepoint’s partner organisations), Jade went on to university, achieving a first class degree. Since graduating, Jade has supported other vulnerable young people as a youth homelessness officer and a substance use worker. She now lives with her partner, son and their new baby.
Jade is using her experiences to make change and is currently writing her own book about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Jade will be opening this year’s Connect: National Youth Homelessness Conference
